Only iron your knits if absolutely necessary, using a low-temperature setting and a protective, clean cloth between the fabric and the iron. Cotton full Lycra:
Washing Instructions:
Always wash your Lycra clothing on the delicate cycle in cold water. You can use natural detergent and other additives to get rid of any germs or any smells from sweat that are in the fabric. Add baking soda for the smell: Adding simple household baking soda to the wash will make your Lycra clothing smell great.
Ironing Instructions:
Start by setting your iron at its lowest temperature setting - even medium heat on an iron may be too hot for Lycra. Similar to working with delicate fabrics such as chiffon or silk, it's also best to avoid excessive amounts of steam from the iron, as this can cause the synthetic fabric to melt or warp.
